Packaged Bricklaying, Building, and Construction
The Bricklaying, Building, and Construction program contains Two Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications that must be completed in sequence; the qualifications are:
1. Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying
Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocking provides a trade outcome for residential and commercial construction work. The qualification has a core competency requirement unit covering common skills for the construction industry and two specialist fields of work.
2. Diploma of Building and Construction
This course reflects the role of building professionals who apply knowledge of structural principles, risk, financial management, estimating, preparing, administering building and construction contracts, selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality, and managing construction work in building projects, including residential and commercial with the build limitations
Entry Requirements
The Painting and Decorating program requires prospective students to have completed the following to ensure success in the course
- Have completed the Australian Equivalent of Year 11
- provide evidence of English language scores*, EILTS 5.5 or PTE/ OET/ CAE equivalent please see Australian Department of Home Affairs - English Language Requirements Page
