The Carpentry, Building, and Construction program contains Two Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications that must be completed in sequence, the qualifications are:
1. Certificate III in Carpentry
Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to work in both residential and commercial environments, using a variety of materials—beyond just wood—to create and repair items. To begin your journey, completing some general construction training is essential to ensure you can work safely. It’s all about building, crafting, and bringing your projects to life.
2. Diploma of Building and Construction
This immersive course is tailored for those interested in the construction industry, covering structural principles, risk assessment, financial management, estimating, and project management. You'll gain essential skills for residential and commercial projects while learning to address construction challenges. It also serves as a foundational requirement for obtaining a building license.
Entry Requirements
The Carpentry, Building & Construction program requires prospective students to have completed the following to ensure success in the course
- Have completed high school (Year 11 equivalent) and passed
