Packaged Hospitality Management Programs

The Hospitality and Management program contains Two Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications. These Australian-recognised qualifications must be completed in sequence. The qualifications are:

1. Diploma of Hospitality Management.

This qualification is designed for senior hospitality industry operators with advanced skills and managerial expertise. They coordinate operations, make business decisions, and oversee others. It prepares individuals for roles as departmental or small business managers across various sectors, including restaurants, hotels, catering, and more. The program supports both multiskilling and specialisation in areas like accommodation services, cooking, food and beverage, and gaming

2. Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management

This qualification prepares highly skilled senior hospitality managers, equipping them with a broad range of hospitality and specialised managerial skills to coordinate operations independently and make strategic business decisions. It provides pathways to various sectors, including restaurants, hotels, catering, and clubs, allowing for multi-skilling and specialisation in areas like accommodation services and food and beverage. Potential job titles include operations manager, café owner, executive chef, and rooms division manager. There are currently no specific licensing or certification requirements for this qualification.

Alternative entry pathway:

This program is for those who may not meet the Diploma pathway and can complete a dual qualification in the Hospitality management program. These Australian-recognised qualifications must be completed in sequence. The qualifications are:

1. Certificate III in Hospitality

2. Certificate IV in Hospitality

Students can complete this course program in the same amount of time.

 

Entry Requirements

The Hospitality Management program requires prospective students to have completed the following to ensure success in the course

  • Have completed high school (Year 11 equivalent) and obtained 70% overall
  • Provide evidence of English language scores*, EILTS 5.5 or PTE/ OET/ CAE equivalent. Please see the Australian Department of Home Affairs - English Language Requirements Page
*Some countries are exempt from English requirements.
