Packaged Painting and Decorating
The Painting and Decorating program contains Two Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications that must be completed in sequence. The qualifications are:
1. Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
This qualification equips individuals with the skills needed for painting and decorating in both residential and commercial construction. Students will gain knowledge in working with scaffolding, safety practices, and effective workplace communication. Additionally, they will learn to perform measurements and calculations, as well as how to read and interpret plans and specifications.
2. Certificate IV in Project Support
This qualification is designed to meet the requirements of estimators, schedulers, and contract administrators in the building and construction sector. It is especially pertinent for individuals tasked with creating estimates using set rates, handling subcontractor claims, and drafting main and subcontract agreements for construction projects.
Entry Requirements
The Painting and Decorating program requires prospective students to have completed the following to ensure success in the course
- Have completed high school (Year 11 equivalent) and passed
