Packaged Patisserie & Hospitality Management Program

The Patisserie & Hospitality Management program contains Three Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications that must be completed in sequence. The qualifications are:

1. Certificate III in Patisserie 

The Certificate III in Patisserie embodies the role of pastry chefs who apply a diverse set of advanced patisserie skills and a solid understanding of kitchen operations to create exquisite patisserie items. Exercising discretion and judgment, they operate independently and with limited supervision, utilizing plans, policies, and procedures to steer their work activities.

2. Certificate IV in Patisserie

Certificate IV in Patisserie prepares pastry chefs for supervisory roles, enabling them to work independently and solve problems. 

3. Diploma of Hospitality Management

This qualification represents highly skilled senior operators in hospitality who combine diverse skills with managerial knowledge to oversee operations. It prepares individuals for roles as departmental or small business managers across various sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and cafés. The qualification supports multiple skills and specialisations in areas like accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage, and gaming.

 

Entry Requirements

The Patisserie and Hospitality Management program requires prospective students to have completed the following to ensure success in the course

  • Have completed high school (Year 11 equivalent) and passed
  • Provide evidence of English language scores*, EILTS 5.5 or PTE/ OET/ CAE equivalent. Please see the Australian Department of Home Affairs - English Language Requirements Page
*Some countries are exempt from English requirements.

Visa Pathways

Studying this Trade and Working as a Pastry Chef allows for a Graduate Visa and pathways to Permanent Residency to Australia.
